Shelf life varies by product, but you can find a printed “donate by” date on the packaging of each item. On average, items last 2-6 days in the fridge. Keep in mind that we don’t use preservatives on our items, so you can expect them to last about as long as regular produce does. Items with cooked veggies (like many of our bowls) can stay fresh for 5 days or more. Check each item's description page on the website for individual shelf life. Once received, please make sure to refrigerate your products as soon as possible to ensure they maintain freshness!

Food safety is a critical piece of our business and we pride ourselves on the daily precautions taken to deliver the highest-quality products. To ensure you can have complete confidence in the safety of your food, our individually-packaged items are always made to Food and Drug Administration manufacturing standards which includes strict sanitation practices. This week and always, we have a full-time team dedicated to meeting these standards.

We adhere to a production schedule to ensure we have the right amount of the highest quality ingredients on hand to fulfill our orders. In an effort to reduce food waste, we are unable to cancel or adjust orders within 5 days of your delivery date.
If you wish to cancel your one-time order, we will refund you in full if the cancellation notice is received at least 5 days prior to your delivery date. Cancellation requests within 1 - 5 days of your delivery date may not be accepted or could result in a cancellation fee.

We have designed our packaging to keep your products fresh and cool up to 48 hours after your expected delivery date. In the event that our 3rd party shipping provider experiences a service disruption that compromises the safety of your product, we will notify you and be sure to make it right!
Jars: Remove labels, rinse and recycle in your curbside bin. Or – reuse the jars for tupperware or storage!
Cardboard box and Kraft paper: Flatten and recycle in your curbside bin.
PET liner: Sourced almost entirely from recycled drink bottles, our PET fiber insulated liners are fully curbside recyclable with no adhesives, PVC, paper or contaminants to the recycling stream.
Nordic Drain SafeTM: We chose the most eco-friendly ice pack on the market. After it thaws, it’s safe to pour down your drain and even acts as a natural cleaner for your pipes. The nitrogen in the pack also makes it great plant food – simply pour gel directly into the soil of indoor or outdoor plants.
At this time our delivery program is not part of our Greens rewards program. It’s something we absolutely would like to incorporate and our tech team is working on the logistics. It’s not a feature yet, but you’ll be notified when it is! In the meantime you can refer your friends for $10 with this link.
We are excited to announce that customers in some zip codes are now able to order for delivery through our app!
When you open the app:
Tap the dark grey location bar at the bottom of the screen to go to our location search
If you’re new to the app, this will say “Order Now” and if you’re returning to the app you might see a previous fridge location there.
Tap the Delivery Tab to enter the delivery location search
Enter your delivery address in the ‘Enter Delivery Address’ field
If your address is eligible for delivery, you may continue ordering. If you find your delivery address is not eligible, you may search for another address.
Tap the “Order For Delivery” button to go to the order menu
Once you’ve selected to order for delivery, you will see your address populated in the grey bar at the bottom of the screen. You can change your location at any time through this same bar, or switch to a fridge pick up.
From the order menu you can fill your cart and then checkout!
You will be able to select your delivery date on the checkout page and enter any delivery instructions!
Currently our app does not accept coupon codes for delivery orders. We are working on this and hope to be able to offer this feature soon. Never fear – If you have a coupon to use for delivery, you can still use it by placing your order through our website. Please note, greens coupons cannot be used for delivery orders.
Your order status will show as “processing” until your order is delivered. We are excited about this brand new functionality in our app and we are still adding features to support delivery orders. Your experience will only get better as new versions are released!
The day before your scheduled delivery, you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking link from our third-party shipping partner. If you have any specific instructions for your delivery, you can add them during checkout when placing your order or submit a request here.
We’re excited to offer the ability to order for delivery through our app! The team is still hard at work adding additional features and improving the customer experience. Currently, we are unable to add items or make changes to orders once they have been placed. As we release new versions of the app this option may become available.
