Community Feature: Grocery Run Club

We’re on a mission to make it simple for everyone to eat well, no matter their circumstances – and this year we’re continuing that with monthly sponsored donations to community organizations. Donating fresh meals has always been core to who we are (in 2020 alone, we donated over 100,000 meals to 100 organizations) and we’re proud to continue that in 2021.

In January, we proudly partnered with Grocery Run Club, a community-driven initiative partnering with organizations to supply fresh produce and everyday necessities to underserved neighborhoods in Chicago. Their mission also includes establishing a long-lasting lifeline that focuses around building community and cultivating access to food – something we align directly with!

Together, we were able to stock local community fridges and provide some of their non-profit partners in Englewood, Bronzeville, Kenwood, and North Lawndale with our made-from-scratch meals to those who can benefit. To follow along with the many ways Grocery Run Club is paying it forward in our Chicago communities, make sure to follow their Instagram!
